About Me

I have always been a story teller,

now I am putting my story telling talents to paper.

About me...I am the youngest of eight children, and I grew up on a small dairy farm in Peonia Kentucky. Well, it wasn't just a dairy farm. We raised tobacco, corn, soybeans, and anything else that would help my parents pay the bills. My father was a union carpenter, and he split his time between building houses and farming. That left a lot of the farm work to us kids. It was a tough childhood, but nothing out of the ordinary for the community I grew up in. Everyone I knew and grew up with worked hard.
After high school, I married my awesome wife Yvonda. I joined the Air Force and served four years. After separating from the military, I became an ASE certified heavy equipment mechanic. I went to work for United Parcel Service as a Ground Support mechanic, and I became a member of the Teamsters Union.
My wife and I raised three boys who grew up to be amazing young men. After 31 years of turning wrenches, I wiped the grease off my hands, closed my tool box, and retired. Well, not completely, I still work on my own cars and my old Chevelle here at home.
Now retired, I have begun my second career and have taken up writing. My goal is to become a published author, and I hope to share my imaginative stories with any who wishes to read them.
